Okay, the story on that goes something like this. It's not actually a PC issue, it's a PC Helper issue. I've reached out to the creator of that script to see if I can get them to walk me into it, or just outright do it. Other than that, the alternative is to have someone modify existing PC Helper script specifically for us here. Is there anyone here, or known of, that'd be willing to give that a crack ?

when I get back to the computer Ill look at the code again, but Im at work so it may take a while to get to

ETA I added the pieces we need to make it work here, but it won't work unless an admin loosens the security on the thread. So when that is done I'll test and post a copy for everyone.

This is not really 15 minutes its a 1-2 min qualifier that could lead to a $2 15 min hit.

How do you reply to someone that replied to you? Like fisherman4737's comment to me? Anyway, maybe spamgirl could tell us how she got it?

True, it forces us to reconsider our habits. It makes sense to me to have them nesting together as it makes a lot more sense to re-read that way. But, on TN replies were treated as basically new posts. I've put in a question to the software folks about this and will advise before implementing any changes. In the end, it comes down to two questions. Can it be changed ? Do we want it changed ? I'll find out the answer to the first question and we can then decide the second.

I can see the appeal of the nested comment threads, but by the evening we're gonna be scrolling back and forth through the pages to see comments about earlier topics.
Maybe I'l old and don't like change, but I liked the single thread set up we have on TN.

We'll have to explore the "latest activity" tab once we've got more action on here and see if that solves the issue of things being too scattered across nested posts by the end of the day. If that is laid out well it might be ok (if you can get a quick view of new responses/comments and zoom to whatever post you want easily).

Looks like we can still do it the old way if we choose (testing quote and post)...

Edit: and it gives you the little arrow in the quote to track back. So, that part seems like it works the same as the TN thread.
